Discovery of Kerala

Day 01: Arrival - Cochin
On arrival at Cochin Airport, a Flashpacking India representative will meet and greet you. Transfer to the hotel. Later enjoy sumptuous lunch and then embark on sightseeing tours of Cochin (Fort Kochi) visiting Cochin Harbor, Fort Kochi, Colonial Homes, Mattancherry Dutch Palace, Jewish Synagogue, St Francis Church, and the world-famous Chinese Fishing Nets. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.

Day 02: Cochin - Munnar
After breakfast drive to the picturesque hill town of Munnar. On the way to Munnar enjoy the scenic charm of Cardamom Hills and the Green Tea Plantations. On arrival at Munnar, Flashpacking India representative transfers you to the hotel. Freshen up and relax. Spend the rest of the day at leisure enjoying the beauty of nature and the picturesque landscapes of Munnar. You can enjoy self-guided trekking tours in Munnar as a part of your flashpacking to Kerala tour. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.

Day 03: Munnar
After breakfast go for the sightseeing tours in and around Munnar. Visit the famous Eravikulam National park where you will have a wonderful opportunity to see Nilgiri Tahr. Also visit the Tea Museum, the Old Munnar Town, the Town Market, Mattupetty Dam & Dairy Farm, etc. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel. 

Day 04: Munnar - Thekkady
After breakfast drive to Thekkady. Visit the famous Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary & Tiger Reserve at Thekkady. Indulge in an evening game viewing cruise on the Periyar Lake and have a close look at a large variety of wildlife including elephants, tigers, panthers, leopards, langurs, sambhars, monkeys, deer, wild boar, and birds. Stay overnight in the hotel.

Day 05: Thekkady (Periyar) - Kumarakom
After breakfast drive to Kumarakom. Enjoy many delightful views of the lush green surroundings during your journey. Spend the rest of the day at leisure or explore the beautiful landscapes of Kumarakom. In the evening enjoy a sunset boat cruise over picturesque Vembanad Lake and enjoy birding at Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary. Enjoy your dinner and stay overnight at the hotel/Houseboat. 

Day 06: Departure from Kumarakom
Have a relaxed breakfast at the hotel. In time Flashpacking India representative transfers you to the Cochin Airport to board a flight for your home/onward destination.
