The tortuous road up the hills made us realize that sometimes the journey is more fascinating than the destination.

Well i clicked this pic in a winter night after having my dinner when i was just walking around this place. It was aprox 9:15 pm & i like the peace & atmosphere. So i wanted to have this forever in my memories as well as in my camera. King Vikramaditya constructed this sacred ghat in memory of his brother Bhatrihari who it is believed had come to Haridwar to meditate on the banks of the Ganga. This ghat later came to be known as Har-Ki-Pauri (also called Brahamakund).

This photo is on the Annanpurna Massif taken from the plane on the way to Kathmandu! There was immense for and so only the summit of the range was visible!

On the ghats of Benaras (Uttar Pradesh) , my lens saw this sadhu perfectly engrossed in his prayers..
