Pushkar Fair [9 & 10 November 2013]
When it comes to celebrate fairs and festivals in India, there is no comparison to Pushkar Fair. This is one of the most famous fairs held at Pushkar town which is located just 11Km from Ajmer, Rajasthan. It is one of the world's largest camel fairs, and apart from buying and selling of livestock it has become an important tourist attraction and its highlights have become competitions such as the "matka phod", "longest moustache", and "bridal competition" are the main draws for this fair which attracts thousands of tourists. The Photo opportunity provided at the colourful Pushkar fair is tremendous and indeed the Pushkar fair can be any photographer’s delight.
Friday 8th November
Meet at Saket Metro Station at 10:30 pm. Board mini coach and drive overnight to Pushkar.
Saturday 9th November
Arrive at Pushkar in the morning. Check in at camp. After breakfast proceed towards the fair sight. Come back to the camp for the Lunch. After Lunch visit the fair again. In the Evening enjoy the cultural performances in the camp.
Sunday 10th November
After having your breakfast at the camp proceed towards the Pushkar fair. You may also visit the famous Bharma temple. In the late evening drive back to Delhi.
Monday 11th November
Arrive at Delhi early in the morning and drop.
